This role is focused on the management of the new pilot plant at our Haverhill site.

Your initial focus in collaboration with the Engineering/Site Manager (site, plant, maintenance) will be to:

• Prepare the building for the plant’s installation
• Ensure the plant equipment is delivered, commissioned and set up for production
• Assist with recruiting the core team for the running of the plant
• Onboard and train the core team

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manufacturing processes are established, tested and validated
• Manufacturing procedures and plant operating procedures are documented
• Product’s sampling strategy/logistics is established and maintained
• Quality and safety systems are established, in collaboration with the company’s Global Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager
• Ensure the Analytical lab is organized
• Manage and develop the core team

You will be supported by and working in collaboration with all the Manufacturing Engineering team members including the Head of Manufacturing Engineering.

Clearly this role will involve a high degree of collaboration between different departments and will involve other duties as required.

Note: It may be necessary for the role holder to travel/work at suppliers’ and collaborators’ sites approximately 2 weeks a year.

Due to the nature of this position the role will be mainly based on site at Haverhill.
